On the planet Aqua lies the watery city of Neo Venezia, a tourist hub in which people travel around in gondolas. Professional gondoliers known as Undines are well-revered as they act as tour guides for the people. Akari Mizunashi is a gondolier in training and also an employee of Aria Company. She gets to meet all sorts of people as she takes them on the gondola rides, from friendly mentors to special individuals, all this admidst the beautiful scenic backdrop of the entire city.This is not an exactly new anime (it was release on 2005 ) but it still has another season going. Aria mainly follow the story of Akari and her friends and their everyday life. It is a light anime, but very far from poorly made. The scenery are beautiful and the story is very interesting. The character have many interesting characteristics. What I like the most is tghe scenery. Very nice graphic, a light story (for one of those days that you only want to watch some good anime without thinking much ) and interesting characters make Ria The Animation is an anime woth the watch.
