Live is hard for our hero , Kamijou Touma (it's either To'ma or Touma, don't know which one ) for everyday of his life is filled with bad luck. From having his room's electricity cut to chased by gang of thugs for trying to save a girl, whose in fact is the strongest ESP in the city. One day he found a sister, stuck (or to be precise, hanging) in his veranda. Her name is Index Librorum Prohibitorum or Index to be short. She is a sister who has a photographic memory, able to remember everything she saw and read. But this ability have a very high price, her memory. The more she remember, the more she forgot her memory, even memory of her precious friend and family. The problem is, she must remember a lot of data, about 103.000 of them. The problem doesn't stop there, she is been chased by the Church because of this. And thus Touma adventure with Index begun.
This anime is adapted from a light novel with the same title. The story take place in a futuristic Academy City (not so futuristic, but very modern) where ESp is a common thing to see. Touma himself is an ESP in level 0. The manga and anime has almost the same storyline . The graphic is quite good and the action is very nicely drawn.
But the thing that makes me keep watching this anime is the story. The story is quite deep, but not too deep that make you think to much. A nice anime with nice graphic and interesting story, quite good anime overall.

Absent Too Long...

Been busy for more than 2 month with my study and my family, so I haven't been able to update this blog of mine. Aria The Animation

On the planet Aqua lies the watery city of Neo Venezia, a tourist hub in which people travel around in gondolas. Professional gondoliers known as Undines are well-revered as they act as tour guides for the people. Akari Mizunashi is a gondolier in training and also an employee of Aria Company. She gets to meet all sorts of people as she takes them on the gondola rides, from friendly mentors to special individuals, all this admidst the beautiful scenic backdrop of the entire city.
This is not an exactly new anime (it was release on 2005 ) but it still has another season going. Aria mainly follow the story of Akari and her friends and their everyday life. It is a light anime, but very far from poorly made. The scenery are beautiful and the story is very interesting. The character have many interesting characteristics. What I like the most is tghe scenery. Very nice graphic, a light story (for one of those days that you only want to watch some good anime without thinking much ) and interesting characters make Ria The Animation is an anime woth the watch.

Shingetsutan Tsukihime

The other day I posted the anime Kara no Kyoukai. Tsukihime is in the same world of Kara no Kyoukai. The difference is in the character . Tsukihime revolved around Shiki Tohno ( compare to Kara no Kyoukai which revolved around Shiki Ryōgi). He suffered some injury from a past "car accident" (you'll find about his accident in much later story ) and because of that injury he acquired an ability that enables him to see the "death-line" of each thing , living or death (Same ability as Shiki Ryōgi). He can shielded by a pair of glasses that a old friend gave him. Thus he can only see the line if he remove his glasses. Because of the accidnt, he is sent away from his household , the Tohn's household. But after a few years, he returns to the old house (or mansion, whichever you choose) to live with his sister, Akiha. After an encounter with Arcueid, he killed her, hen found her alive the next day waiting for him. The story then goes on with them fighting other mysterious being and then "accident" itself.
The story is created by the same creator of Kara no Kyoukai, but this anime is much older than Kara no Kyoukai, but it is has a very deep storyline. This anime is adapted from a visual novel by using the Arcueid arc of story. The game itself has about 5 arcs. This anime is worth the watch and the story itself is very creative, in my opinion that is.

Split & Concat is an application for your Mac than enables you to split you big file and then you can combine them easily with just a single click.
This application can split your file into several split file with a .0** extension behind them with ** for the number of your split files. How large each file is can be set at the start of the spliting process.
to combine these fles, you only have to selcet 1 files ann then let Split & Concat do the rest of the works for you.

Web Base Game : Tagoria

Tagoria is a web base game. It is quite a light game in my opinion. You can go on a quest, fight many kin of monster (one of them is a big earthworm , and I mean BIG ), find treasure, and fight other player. Establish horde to go on battle against other horde or you can join the dimensional battle to assist the god in battle against other god. Win your battle and you gain treasure, loss your battle mean loss all your possesion (well, not all yur possesion, just a bit of them).

StuffIt Deluxe , The Archiver for Mac

Ever been in this situation before ? You want to open some file, it's an important file. You're on Mac then you found out that the file is in a rar or even tar package. Your application can only open zip file, what to do ? Well, I sure have ( it's quite a headache, you know), I try searching the net for a good application but some of them can only open zip file. Well some of them can also open rar file and tar,here another application for you . StuffIt, it's a good application. Easy to use, and for all of you who are already accustomed to using Windows can use it easily. The only down side is this is not a freeware. Eventhough there is a lot of freeware application, if you want something with an extra power and professional use, StuffIt is for you. Oh yeah, this time there is no picture, I'll try to look for them ASAP.

AppZapper : Uninstaller for Mac

For a few month, I've searched high and low for this kind of application. The AppZapper, the Uninstaller that Apple forgot.

This application can uninstall your application that you no longer needed. It's quite a usefull application. because I have try to install many application and it doesn't exactly as easy as pie. You have to remove the main app, the search for the preference file yourself and them remove them manually. It would be a snap if all the preference file is in the same folder, but most of the time the preference is spread all over the place (quite a hard work , if you ask me). This application solve this problem, just search the application, click them, click remove, and there all there is to do. Usefull, isn't it ?

Kara no Kyoukai : The Garden of Sinners

This time it's an anime called Kara no Kyoukai : The Garden of Sinners.
The story revolved on Shiki Ryōgi, a girl with an ability called "Mystic Eyes of Death Perception". An ability which can see somebody's (even something) line of death. She can then slice them and killed them instantly with ease.
This anime is taken from a Japanese novel series with the same name written by Kinoko Nasu and illustrated by Takashi Takeuchi (for some of you, they are the creator of Tsukihime and Fate: Stay Night). The storyline is quite deep, every episode is based on one of the novel of Kara no Kyoukai. There is 7 episodes all off them, each episodes is an hour long. For me, this anime is very good (cause I already played both the game and anime of Tsukihime and already watched Fate). It has a good plot, a great character, and also great graphic.

FreeCol : Old Concepts, New Feature

This time I'll start with a game. It's called FreeCol.

It's a game- maybe a clone, but if i say it's a clone, it's an insult to this game- that is based on an old game called Colonization. Colonization is a very old game, designed by Micropose (maybe some of you know, some not). The object of this game is create colonies in the New World (America in the old days, very old days). First you only command 2 colonists and a ship (kind of ship depend on your advantage) . You have to build them wisely and finally declare independence fromyour former king. This is where you will fight to the better (or maybe bitter ) end.
It's a great game, it has decent graphic (don't even think about 3D, man). Great gameplay, and last but not least (this is the best part for me) it's a FREEWARE. Yes, you heard it, it's free. It's a project and it's still undergoing development. The last version is 0.8.0-alpha2 .
Oh, and one more thing, it's playable on Windows, Linux, and of course Mac. This is one of the good point of this game for me. If ou want to download it, go to www.freecol.org

Launching of Macnime

Hello there, in this blog you will see much info about Mac and Apple (cause I use Mac, and I love it), Anime (watch it, love it), and Game (Play it and Enjoy it). What can I say, these are my hobbies and I want to share with all of you many info about this.
